Shawn I just have to tell you that I have been fighting trying to learn how to forgive my father. I would say it but it never took away the pain!! I discovered this video about 2 years ago. I can’t even tell you how many people I’ve shared this with! Thank you for sharing your story, I think I have watched it at least ten times myself! It has truly blessed me thank you Jesus!! Thank you Shawn for listening to Him. My born again date is 2004, this “How To” video was a question heavy on my heart for a very long time.

I'm so grateful for this sermon I pray you blessed abundantly. I left a toxic marriage " in separation" my divorce has not been finalized but everyday ( I've been fighting at just attempting to keep my head above the water)

All my life from the day I was born to the day my dad died he did me wrong and when it was time for me to take him into my house and watch over him I did what a true daughter should do with love and respect for a parent but I asked him one day why he took my youth away and hurt me in every way I can amazing till this day the people 😂 love seem to treat me with mintel abuse and I asked why and all they say is because I am to nice and love to help people but I say thet the devil uses the people I love to try to destroy me and I say that the enemy can't take away what God has blessed me with so I forgive and say God forgive them for they no not what they do it's easy to forgive but too forget is so hard

3:04 I'm hoping that you and God's word can help me with my past I grow up with all my family members nine to me and hurt me I need to get red of it the little girl in me has to die so I can live my life the way God won't me to live

When I turn this on this morning, on my way to work, I felt like this was directly speaking to me. I have been battling these exact same symptoms and soul-searching with the word and meditation to try to help heal and I appreciate this sermon so much. God bless you for being honest and truthful and bringing light to this darkness. You really feel trapped in alone and afraid to admit what you’re really going through inside and when he mentioned a tornado inside, I said the exact same thing of the week and it’s like a tornado is going on inside my soul, thank you for this really help me. I love it when Preachers these days preach from The Bible. Using scriptures as their base. I find that modern day preachers can go on preaching for an hour without a single scripture reference.
